Every year the Martin Luther King Jr (MLK) Seattle Celebration Committee organizes a large scale celebration in the only geographic jurisdiction named in Dr. King's honor. The 35th Annual MLK Seattle Celebration includes morning workshops, a rally, a march from Garfield High School to downtown, and a career fair back at Garfield.

Stage and Rally Support volunteers will help set-up for the rally in the Garfield gym, support speakers and entertainment on the stage, and greet/hand-out programs for arriving guests. Following the rally, volunteers will help tidy the gym, and are then free to join the march to downtown. Volunteers are identifiable by a T-shirt that is provided by the MLK Celebration Committee. Details on the rally presenters/entertainment is available on our website
