Mid-Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group

We're a small 501c3 non-profit based at Magnuson Park in Seattle. As one of 14 Regional Fisheries Enhancement Groups around the state, we work in King County and Kitsap County to engage the community in salmon recovery.

Engaging people in on-the-ground efforts to local stream and near-shore habitat, so local salmon and communities can thrive. We host volunteer events to restore streamside habitat, lead education programming in the classroom and out for all ages, and plan and implement projects benefiting salmon recovery ranging from replacing fish passage barriers, installing rain gardens, and reconnecting floodplain.
