Who We Are

We believe that ending poverty is key to ensuring that every child can be safe and healthy and have a real chance at success. This is especially true for children of color, who are more likely than white children to live in poverty. In all of our campaigns we seek to identify and change the racial disparities and inequalities that are hurting kids.

What We Do

Children’s Alliance advocates with legislators in Washington state to ensure that laws, policies and programs work for kids and families, especially those who are held back by systemic racism and poverty. We mobilize community advocates from around the state to hold our leaders accountable until they secure the resources required to make all children safe and healthy.
