Our hospital volunteers are key to helping EvergreenHealth provide exceptional service to our patients and visitors. In return, we provide the opportunity for meaningful experiences and the chance to make a difference in people's lives. Even if you aren't working directly with patients, your support for our clinical teams helps them focus on providing the best healthcare for our patients. Whether it's helping with office work, walking a guest to their destination or just providing a warm smile and offer to help, volunteers are an integral part of our exceptional service.
EvergreenHealth offers several opportunities for potential volunteers. We can match your skills, interests and availability with volunteer positions. Depending on your volunteer assignment, you can provide behind-the-scenes support for our clinical teams and patient care units, assist with customer service at our information desks, and even learn retail skills in our gift shops. You will receive free parking, training and uniforms at no cost. Teens 16 years of age or older can volunteer in the gift shops or at the information desks, and volunteers 18 years of age or older can volunteer in any department accepting volunteers. Volunteers make a six-month commitment to come in once a week for a three to four hour shift on the same day and shift each week.
