We are a growing network of students, peers, and community members who believe that no one should die from a preventable overdose. Narcare started as a student project and has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with chapters and partners across the U.S. We come from different schools and backgrounds, but we’re united by a commitment to evidence-based harm reduction, story-driven advocacy, and showing up for our communities.
What We Do
Narcare is a student-led harm reduction nonprofit that helps young people respond to the overdose crisis in their own communities. We support chapters to distribute naloxone, teach overdose recognition and response, share accurate, stigma-free drug information, and advocate for better local and national policy. Our goal is simple: make it easier for students to save lives and support people who use drugs with dignity and care.
