Who We Are

Mission Uniting community support for innovative and equitable learning across Highline Public Schools. Vision Nurture and support the potential of every Highline Public School student. The ⁠Highline Schools Foundation was established in 1999 by a group of parents and community volunteers in ⁠Burien, WA. Originally called the Highline Fund for Excellence, it was created to bridge the gap between state funding and what local schools needed. It operates independently from the school district as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, supporting all schools in ⁠Highline Public Schools

What We Do

Highline Schools Foundation supports staff, administrators, and teachers with grants to help them create innovative and equitable learning opportunities.We provide programs for students and families ranging from evening and weekend nutrition, school supplies, warm coats, shoes, and other basic needs.Highline School Foundation offers scholarships for graduating seniors and other efforts to support students as they graduate prepared for the future they choose.
