Who We Are
North Helpline believes that all deserve adequate food, housing, and respect. We are a food bank and client services center located in 2 facilities in the Lake City and Bitter Lake neighborhoods. We assist our North Seattle neighbors in obtaining basic needs that affirm their human dignity and worth.
What We Do
We are first and foremost known for the food we provide through our food bank, over the course of our 3 weekly distributions we serve groceries to roughly 1,500 individuals. In addition to food we also provide hygiene products, various household supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning products), hats, jackets and gloves (especially during cold winter months), menstrual products, baby supplies, pet food, help with eviction notices and water or heat shutoffs, no-cook bags for individuals experiencing homelessness and referrals to other organizations if we cannot assist at our facilities.
