Who We Are

Teens In Public Service (TIPS) develops future leaders committed to their communities. TIPS offers young leaders, ages 15-19 years-old, paid summer internships in local non-profits throughout the Greater Puget Sound area. Since the inception of the TIPS program, over 1200 young leaders have served nearly 250 organizations.

What We Do

TIPS offers young leaders, ages 15-19 years-old, paid community service internships in local non-profits throughout the Greater Puget Sound region. Each TIPS internship is unique, based on the skills of the intern, and the needs of the non-profit organization.

TIPS interns help nonprofits carry out organizational initiatives by providing invaluable support to their summer programs. In turn, interns learn how to work in the nonprofit community while also building leadership skills to meet the needs of their organization.
