Who We Are

Vine Maple Place is a Christian organization that addresses the complex issues of family homelessness. Our mission is to break the cycle of homelessness by helping single parents and their children build lives of hope, stability, and greater self-sufficiency. Our vision is to end family homelessness in Maple Valley and surrounding area.

What We Do

Vine Maple Place offers hope and provides stability with tailored housing solutions and support services for each individual family to build skills that lead to self-sufficiency.

  • Emergency Shelter: Homeless families are provided temporary shelter. Families in danger of losing their home are provided resources to remain housed while taking steps to regain stability.
  • Case Management & Counseling: Work with families to obtain housing or resolve an eviction. Counseling and life skills development help clients heal from trauma and reduce barriers and achieve and maintain stability.
  • Financial Literacy & Employment Development:  Teaches basic financial management skills that help families stabilize. Provides adults with employment workshops and coaching focused on obtaining a job that leads to full-time livable wage employment.
  • Child & Youth Services: Identifies the needs of at-risk children through in-depth assessments. They participate in activities that promote self-esteem and emotional stability, academic tutoring, counseling, mentoring, therapeutic intervention, and life skills coaching, in order to be successful at home and school.
