The Snoqualmie Tribe Environmental and Natural Resource Department (ENR) will protect, preserve and enhance the environment of the Snoqualmie Reservation and traditional Tribal Lands, and promote the best management of natural resources for the benefit of current and future generations. As a department of the Snoqualmie Tribe, ENR has been working on habitat restoration projects in the Snoqualmie Valley since 2007. Our main restoration effort lies along the Fall City reach of the Snoqualmie River. This area contains favorable habitat for salmon. It also contains lands that were traditionally inhabited by the Snoqualmie People. For these reasons, the ENR department is continuing efforts to restore this area. Snoqualmie ENR partners with King Conservation District, EPA, Mountains to Sound Greenway, Stewardship Partners, and many others in a watershed wide effort to improve habitat for salmon.
