Who We Are

R.H.A. is a non-profit organization which was founded in October of 1941 to provide 4,000 units of war-time housing for builders of the B-17 bombers working for Boeing Airplane Company. In 1960, war time housing was replaced by low income housing, as well as other services for low income families and seniors.

What We Do

The mission of the R.H.A. is to provide decent, quality, affordable housing in a safe environment to people with low incomes who make Renton their home. Through partnerships with our clients, service providers and other groups, we will responsibly increase and enhance our housing programs while providing opportunities for those we serve to become self-sufficient. The fundamental purpose of R.H.A. is to provide high quality housing and supportive services to residents and families in need. We seek to accomplish this in ways that strengthen and help the community. We have limited funds to serve some of our low income families and seniors. We look for partnerships to add more activities for our residents.
