Community Lunch on Capitol Hill

Community Lunch has 5 employees who organize volunteers, pick up donated food and plan and prepare meals. Nearly all the work preparing and serving each meal is done by volunteers. More than 2000 people volunteer each year.

Community Lunch on Capitol Hill provides hot nutritious meals, clothing and other critical services to those enduring homelessness and economic hardship. We serve Monday through Friday, coffee and breakfast 9:30am-10:30am, lunch 11:30am-1:00pm. Our meals are open to all in a welcoming and inclusive environment. No sign-in is ever required.
