Who We Are
- We are a health and wellness nonprofit organization that offers affordable mental health counseling, naturopathic medicine visits, and community health education programs.
- Inside Health Institute (IHI) was founded in 2015. We provide high quality care specifically designed to be offered to at-risk, marginalized, uninsured or underinsured populations (seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, people of color).
- Our main office is in Bothell, WA and we serve populations in King and Snohomish Counties. Through sliding scale discounts we have given more than $30,000 in patient services.
- We have created unique community-based programs including the Get Fit Club, which supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a series of educational classes in a fun, community-building environment that focused on health, nutrition, and exercise.
- Our goal is to offer care to people with all ranges of chronic illness in a comprehensive care setting.
- More than 25% of IHI’s current patients are people of color, who are known to disproportionately experience poorer health outcomes.
- Inside Health Institute is forming partnerships with other nonprofit and for-profit community services and businesses, in order to facilitate optimum health and wellness for patients.
What We Do
- Our goal is to offer care to all people with all ranges of chronic illness in a comprehensive care setting. Chronic illness is one of the leading causes of death and disability in the United States. Nearly half of all Americans suffer from at least one chronic disease which costs the nation 86% of our health care dollars. We work with people from all racial and ethnic backgrounds. More than 50% of IHI’s current patients are people of color, who are known to disproportionately experience poorer health outcomes across the county.
- We integrate holistic approaches (nutrition, counseling, mind-body practices, etc.) into all areas of healthcare with an emphasis on offering these approaches to under-served populations as well as partnering with people and organizations who support these populations.
- We have an innovative model of providing healthcare to treat a range of chronic illnesses including digestion, cardiovascular, metabolic (hormone), immune and mental health. IHI is forming partnerships with other nonprofit and for-profit community services and businesses, in order to facilitate optimum health and wellness for patients.
