Who We Are
Tu Luong Medical Mission Foundation (TLF) was established in 1992 in Vermont by Tan Lam in honor of his mother and father, Tu and Luong, respectively. Tu Luong means from the heart in Vietnamese and “help, relief, assistance, aid, and support” in Filipino (tulong/tulugan). Our first purpose was to organize medical teams to provide free medical services to Vietnamese refugees in Southeast Asia. When the last Vietnamese refugee camp closed, TLF reincorporated in Washington 1998 to support medical mission, education, and other nonprofit organizations.
What We Do
For education, TLF provides Mini Medical School for both general public and high school students. For nonprofit, TLF offers webinars and in-person training on fundraising, grant writing, leadership, and more.
