United Way Day of Service Organization Agreement
By participating in a United Way Day of Service event with United Way, the partner organization agrees to:
1. Communicate in a timely manner with the volunteer project leader, and ensure that all critical project information has been received by the volunteer team(s).
2. Facilitate volunteer sign-in on the United Way of King County volunteer sign-in sheet or combine your sign-in sheet with United Way's. The organization agrees to retain a copy of the form for their records for one year from the event date.
3. Designate a project manager for the Day of Service project and ensure that the Project Leader(s) know who their main point of contact is at your organization.
4. Learn how to navigate our volunteer site so that you can gather volunteer responses and track information successfully.
5. Review all communications from United Way of King County.
6. Accept full responsibility for project planning, provide all supplies and equipment needed for the project, screen volunteers if your organization requires that and manage the logistics of the project.
7. Properly orient and train the volunteer team prior to engaging in the volunteer project.
