Just Speak is an after school club for students of color to talk about issues of social justice, identity, and their experiences in a brave space using spoken word and poetry as a tool. This event will be the first planned performance opportunity for the students to share their work with the public. Just Speak is a project born from the race equity committees at The Harbor School and Vashon Island School District and it’s being supported/financed by Vashon Artists in Schools.
