Volunteer: Village Makeki (Market)Volunteers will support the Food Access Network (FAN) team by helping with food pick-up from our food bank partners across King County. This will involve manually unloading food from trucks and transporting it to our Makeki (Market), where they will help stock the shelves. Volunteers will also assist with breaking down boxes, managing operations during Makeki (Market) hours under the supervision of the FAN team, and helping to close Makeki at the end of each operational day. Volunteers should be prepared to lift items weigh between 5 to 50 lbs.
