In this dynamic role, you’ll:

Coordinate Fundraising Efforts: Plan and execute impactful campaigns and events, set fundraising goals, and track progress while engaging the community and volunteers.Pursue Corporate Sponsorships: Identify and secure partnerships with businesses, maintain relationships with corporate sponsors, and develop recognition programs to keep them engaged.Research and Write Grants: Identify grant opportunities, assist in writing compelling applications, and gather data and stories to support proposals.

Your leadership will help sustain and expand our programs, ensuring that children in our care have access to education, healthcare, and the loving support they need to thrive.

Volunteer Opportunity: Child Sponsorship Communication Associate

Help build meaningful connections between sponsors and the children they support! As a Child Sponsorship Communication Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in helping organize communication correspondence for our child sponsors, and prepare updates that keep sponsors engaged and informed.

Why This Role Matters?

Child sponsorship is a lifeline for the vulnerable youth living in our homes at Niños con Valor in Bolivia. It provides them with safe, loving homes, access to education, healthcare, and the support they need to overcome challenges and build brighter futures.

A key part of sponsorship is the connection between sponsors and the children they support. Through letters, updates, and special celebrations like birthdays, sponsors bring encouragement and hope to these young lives.

As a Child Sponsorship Communication Volunteer, you’ll help make these meaningful connections possible. By managing correspondence and keeping sponsors informed, your role ensures that both sponsors and children feel valued and supported. Your efforts will directly impact the youth in our care, helping them grow with confidence and a sense of belonging

Responsibilities: 

Work with Sponsorship Program Coordinator to communicate directly with donors on any updates or reminders we need to send them. 

Facilitate the exchange of letters/messages and request special donation on behalf of child birthdays between sponsors and children for any special occasions. 

Prepare and send sponsorship packets and bi-annual updates to sponsors via mail. 

Ensure timely communication with sponsors about their child's status and any updates (i.e. child turns 18 and moves out, family re-integration, or adoption).
