Volunteer: Community Pantry VolunteerMake a difference in our housing community by delivering fresh groceries to our community food pantry! This volunteer position has a direct impact on our resident's access to fresh groceries by picking up food donations in Kenmore and delivering them to our housing in the Central District. This position is well-suited for friends or partners who would like to volunteer together to make a difference in the greater seattle area. By volunteering with PHC you will be directly involved in building community and connections among residents. Many of our residents are negatively impacted by chronic mental health conditions, trauma, and homelessness. If you are passionate about access to food, mental health, community, and housing, this volunteer opportunity is for you! Individuals in this position will be lifting boxes up to 40lbs, walking short distances while carrying 40lbs, driving their personal vehicle, and cleaning out the community pantry. Commitment: One shift a month on Friday evenings for 2-4 hours per shift. Friday shifts are flexible, and Mileage reimbursement is available. To apply, visit our website or reach out!
