Partnering with agencies, we ensure access to vital resources for a brighter future. The REACH Meal Coalition: Fighting Food Insecurity In South King County, we combat food insecurity by providing free meals to those in need. No one should go hungry, and we're dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. *Major responsibilities: Organizational leadership and advisement Organization of the board of directors, officers, and committees Formulation and oversight of policies and procedures Financial management, including adoption and oversight of the annual budget Oversight of program planning and evaluation Personnel evaluation and staff development Review of organizational and programmatic reports Promotion of the organization Fundraising and outreach*Members of the board share these responsibilities while acting in the interest of REACH. Each member is expected to make recommendations based on his or her experience and vantage point in the community. Length of term: Preferred term is three years, which may be renewed up to a maximum of three consecutive terms, pending approval of the board. We’re seeking a warm, reliable Administrative Volunteer to help keep things running smoothly and offer a welcoming presence to our residents. This role is a meaningful way to use your organizational and people skills to make a real impact.
