Join us on January 20th 2020 for MLK Day of Service. Our goal this year is to provide projects that continue to make the Cascade People's Center a welcoming and inclusive space for the Cascade neighborhood. Our projects tend to focus around the initiatives and programs at the Cascade People’s Center. The projects may be to improve our physical space, inside and/or outside, such as painting, cleaning or grounds work. We may also have projects that support our Wilderness Leadership program, with tasks like repairing or cleaning outdoor equipment or even to help us complete inventory.
Final project(s) will be dependent on number of volunteers and weather.
Please arrive prepared with appropriate clothing for the weather, close-toed shoes. All tools and supplies will be provided.
Location: Cascade People's Center, 309 Pontius Ave N Seattle WA 98109. Paid parking is available on the streets that surround the center.
