Description

About Roam Around: Roam Around is an exciting event during the LEAD conference. LEAD is implemented by The John F. Kennedy Center Accessibility Office each year in a different city around the nation. Upwards of 800 arts administrators, managers, leaders, funders, and individuals with disabilities from various cultural organizations (think theaters, museums, zoos, parks, and more!) come together  to learn about accessibility in the arts and advance the full inclusion of people with disabilities in the arts sector. Roam Around, sponsored by SCAC, is an opportunity for Seattle to highlight some of the organizations that are doing great work in accessibility to conference attendees. It is a fun post conference day event intended to deepen connections, allow for networking, and to enjoy some inclusive art & culture.
