Join Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group at our most recently completed floodplain restoration site for a planting party!
Mid Sound just completed an in-stream restoration construction project on Bear Creek in Redmond and we need your help to get native plants in the ground and protect them by adding mulch rings! Work will include hauling mulch in buckets, digging with a shovel in sandy soil, bending/leaning to place plants in the ground, and walking on uneven terrain. The site can be very muddy so dress in clothes you are comfortable getting dirty.
**If you are under 18 and attending without a parent or guardian, please also print and fill out the Youth Waiver Form attached to the confirmation email and bring it with you to the event!
