Walk the Block is back, and this year, we’re turning up the energy to celebrate Small Business Month by spotlighting the incredible entrepreneurs, artists, and community members who make Rainier Beach shine. The Walk the Block Party is a one-day public event filled with local vendors, performers, community resources, family-friendly fun, and opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate everything that makes our neighborhood great. We need volunteers like you to help bring it all together. Whether you’re a seasoned event pro or just looking to get involved, there’s a role for everyone.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Event setup and breakdown
- Registration and welcoming attendees
- Transportation support
- Entertainment and media coordination
- Leading recreation activities and games for all ages
This is a fun, fast-paced day where you’ll get to meet new people, support your neighborhood, and help create a space for local businesses and artists to thrive.
