Curious about our native plant nursery?
Planting season is on the way, and our native plants need some love and care before they’re planted in parks around the island. Come join us to learn all about native plants, help to weed out pots, trim roots, and set our plants up for success. Get your hands in the dirt, work alongside neighbors and friends, and eat snacks! No experience necessary; gloves and tools are provided.
When: Thursday, September 15th, 4pm-6pm
Where: Luther Burbank Park North Parking Lot
What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring a water bottle. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
