Join us in the Luther Burbank South Wetland!
Join us for an evening mulching and weeding event in the Luther Burbank South Wetland. We have many small native plants recently planted that could greatly benefit from adding mulch and protecting them from weeds growing. Mulch is important for young plants as it provides water retention, weed suppression, and increases soil health as it breaks down. Come join us and spend time in the wetland and help protect our native plants!
When: Thursday, April 13th, 4pm-6pm
Where: Luther Burbank South Parking Lot
What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring a water bottle. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
