Join us for a Clean Up in Gallagher Hill Open Space Habitat Garden
At the top of Gallagher Hill, we’ve been working on a new demonstration habitat garden, and we’d love your help. If you are interested in learning more about local gardening, native plants, and building healthier ecosystems, then this is the volunteer event for you! Tasks may vary from weeding planting beds, spreading mulch, removing ivy and blackberries.
When: Thursday, October 12th, 3:30pm-5:30pm
Where: Gallagher Hill Open Space off of Shorewood Dr, follow VOLUNTEER EVENT Signs
What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring a water bottle. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
