Bring in the New Year with one last volunteer event!
Join us for our last event of 2023 in Pioneer Park! We’ve had an incredible year of volunteering with over 1,000 volunteers coming to restore Mercer Island Parks. We’ve removed thousands of acres of weeds, planted hundreds of native plants, and spread hundreds of yards of mulch.
Come celebrate the end of the year with us by removing ivy in Pioneer Park. We’ll have some fun snacks, hot chocolate, coffee, and tea, all to celebrate the volunteers who have made this work possible!
When: Saturday, December 30th, 10am-1pm
Where: Pioneer Park NE, Meet at the corner of Island Crest Way and SE 68th St. Follow VOLUNTEER EVENT Signs
What to bring: Dress for the weather in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (think: long pants, boots or sneakers). Bring water. Small snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided.
