Why This Role Matters?
Child sponsorship is a lifeline for the vulnerable youth living in our homes at Niños con Valor in Bolivia. It provides them with safe, loving homes, access to education, healthcare, and the support they need to overcome challenges and build brighter futures.
A key part of sponsorship is the connection between sponsors and the children they support. Through letters, updates, and special celebrations like birthdays, sponsors bring encouragement and hope to these young lives.
As a Child Sponsorship Communication Volunteer, you’ll help make these meaningful connections possible. By managing correspondence and keeping sponsors informed, your role ensures that both sponsors and children feel valued and supported. Your efforts will directly impact the youth in our care, helping them grow with confidence and a sense of belonging
Responsibilities:
Work with Sponsorship Program Coordinator to communicate directly with donors on any updates or reminders we need to send them.
- Facilitate the exchange of letters/messages and request special donation on behalf of child birthdays between sponsors and children for any special occasions.
- Prepare and send sponsorship packets and bi-annual updates to sponsors via mail.
- Ensure timely communication with sponsors about their child's status and any updates (i.e. child turns 18 and moves out, family re-integration, or adoption).
