Volunteers are needed to check participants in at Registration, and for new sailors to review their expectations and explain to them how Footloose operates. Prior to the participants going to the dock life jacket and sling (if required) fits are required. All participants are escorted to the dock by a volunteer. Volunteers then assist, if help is needed, participants getting on the boats. This assist can range from offering an arm to hold onto, to the use of a davit system and hoyer lift. The process is reversed at the end of the sail.
No experience is required for the on-shore positions
