Join the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle on Saturday, August 8, 2026 for our biggest community celebration of the year! Hosted at the Rainier Beach Community Center, this festival brings free resources, local vendors, family-friendly activities, music, and food to more than 1,800 neighbors, all in one joyful day.
For the Culture is where community meets celebration, featuring a Career & College Fair, Health Symposium, Small Business Expo, Kids Zone, Back to School Drive, and partners like the Seattle Mariners, Rainier Beach Action Coalition, ACE Academy, and Baseball Beyond Borders.
We need YOU to make the magic happen! Volunteer roles include guest check-in and welcome, wayfinding, Kids Zone support, Back to School Drive distribution, vendor and exhibitor support, program activation support, and setup and breakdown crews.
The full event day runs 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Volunteers will be placed in shifts within that window, and our team will be in touch with your shift assignment and role details after you sign up.
No experience needed, just good energy and a heart for community. Come for a shift, stay for the vibes, and leave knowing you helped make Seattle a little stronger.
