Far too often, parents in our community have to make the choice between working to put food on the table and spending time with their kids. Jubilee REACH helps solve that problem on the Eastside, where it works to provide access to assistance programs and youth services. They offer mentoring, tutoring, and over 20 after-school clubs and sports at various Bellevue public schools.
The Thrift Store is a huge part of making that work possible, and every dollar of net profit goes back to the community. If you’ve ever worked in retail, you know the drill: we’ll be in the front of the house (re-stocking the floors and shelves, organizing racks and other household items, and helping customers) and also the back (hanging clothes, sorting through donations, cutting price tags, tagging prices on merchandise and receiving donations from donors).
