Join us for the 2019 Family Resource Exchange event at Seattle Central College and help connect families experiencing homelessness with critical resources in one place at one time. We are looking to get families connected to housing resources, clothing, groceries, haircuts, employment, education, legal services, childcare assistance, and so much more!
At the last Family Resource Exchange, we met 350 households/1000 people impacted by the crisis of homelessness. It is unacceptable that so many kids and families experience homelessness, but with your support, we can help even more families reach housing stability.
Volunteers will help greet families, provide navigation at the event, support resource stations and help create a warm and welcoming environment. All volunteers will get an information packet prior to the event and their volunteer role day of the event.
This opportunity is for young professionals as part of the Emerging Leaders 365 program.
