Roll your sleeves up this Spring season by volunteering at Jackson P-Patch in North Seattle. This park is a community-stewarded space that is a part of the P-Patch Community Gardening program throughout the city.
The community gardening program promotes United Way's mission to fight food insecurity by donating thousands of pounds of organic produce to meal programs and food banks across Seattle annually.
For this volunteer project, you will be helping with the following tasks:
- Weeding/clearing land
- Putting down woodchips
- Transporting materials around the garden
- Other tasks as needed
