Remote Intake Volunteer
The remote intake volunteer shifts are:
- Shift 1: Mondays, from 10:00AM – 2:00PM
- Shift 2: Mondays, from 2:00PM – 6:00PM
- Shift 3: Tuesdays, from 10:00AM – 2:00PM
- Shift 4: Tuesdays, from 2:00PM – 6:00PM
- Shift 5: Wednesdays, from 10:00AM – 2:00PM
- Shift 6: Wednesdays, from 2:00PM – 6:00PM
- Shift 7: Thursdays, from 10:00AM – 2:00PM
- Shift 8: Thursdays, from 2:00PM – 6:00PM
- Shift 9: Saturdays, from 10:00AM – 2:00PM
- Shift 10: Saturdays, from 2:00PM – 6:00PM
- Shift 11: Sundays, from 10:00AM – 2:00PM
- Shift 12: Sundays, from 2:00PM – 6:00PM

Below you will find the date and start time of your first weekly shift. This date and time will correspond to your shift choice for the rest of the season. Please note: We ask volunteers to commit to 1 weekly 4 hour shift for the duration of the tax season: 2/2/2026 – 4/19/2026 (11 shifts over 11 weeks).
Because our partner, GetYourRefund (our remote tax prep platform), doesn't generally launch until late into January, the start dates for our remote opportunities are later than other free tax volunteer opportunities. Once we get closer to January, we will be in touch if there are any unexpected changes to these starting dates.

For example:
You select “Wed, Feb 5 @ 2:00 pm, duration: 4 hours.”
This means your reoccurring volunteer shift will be every Wednesday from 2 pm to 6 pm.
