Join students, families, community resources, and more than a dozen volunteers for for a Fuel Your Future Family Resource Event at Cascade Middle School in Auburn. Volunteers are needed to welcome families to the event and lead fun activity stations for students.
At Cascade Middle School, nearly two-thirds of students qualify for free and reduced meals, and this event will give these students the opportunity to access nutrition, gardening, and health education and resources. The event will include free food, music, games, and resources provided by community organizations from across King County.
Volunteers will be able to choose their role, and can lead activities for kids ranging from gardening demonstrations to exercise-related games. Opportunities to engage with parents are also available if desired. Volunteers are asked to stay for the duration of the event, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
