Time Commitment:
You can choose a weekly shift that works for you! There are a number of shift options to choose from including days, evenings and weekends. Volunteers commit to attending a weekly, 3-4 hour shift during tax season.
Volunteer shifts at Burien Goodwill are:

Tuesdays, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Thursdays, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Saturdays, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Saturdays, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Sundays, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Below you will find date and time of the first day of your weekly shift. This date and time will correspond to your shift choice for the rest of the season.

January 15th: Tuesday

For example:
Shift begins on Jan. 15th @ 5:00 pm, duration: 4 hours.
This means your shift will be every Tuesday, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
Training Requirements:
No prior tax experience is necessary!
*Training will take place at South Seattle College (6600 16th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98106) on weekends in December and January. Various training dates are offered. Training reminders will be sent via email a week prior to your training date.
