Description

Horiuchi P-Patch is a community garden serving primarily the low-income immigrant and refugee communities living in the surrounding Yesler Terrace neighborhood. Volunteers from United Way have been helping rebuild Horiuchi P-Patch over the past year. The last project is finishing the construction of a toolshed. Volunteers will put up a frame using 4x4 posts and 2x4 boards. Construction experience is desired. If you do not have any building experience, volunteer work may include weeding or tree trimming.
