The Northshore Inclusion Program (Northshore Wranglers) is one of the largest programs of its kind in the Puget Sound area and was founded in 1998. The pandemic has been particularly disruptive to people with disabilities. Prior years have had a focus on comradery, getting together to enjoy sports, arts, and day programs. In response to COVID restrictions, virtual activities such as Sign Language, Dance, Balance & Strength, and Reader Theater have been developed to help peers connect. As the community emerges from the pandemic, re-establishing connections for our young people is more important than ever.
Funds from the Capes for Courage 5K will help the Northshore Wranglers bring coaches and advisers on board to expand options for our members to participate in social activities, webcast their adventures, tell stories, and showcase their abilities.
Join us for the 8th Annual Bothell 5K! Choose your position and shift or stay for the entire event!
