FIRST LEGO League introduces students grades 4-8 and ages 9-14 years old to real world engineering challenges by building LEGO based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface. FIRST LEGO League teams, guided by their imaginations and adult coaches, discover exciting career possibilities and through the process learn to make positive contributions to society.
Events happen December through early February. There are multiple ways for you to get involved!
No experience necessary. We will provide any training needed. Events are typically a one day commitment (typically 7am – 5pm). While this may sound like a big commitment, it bring a great value to the students and our communities. Students are excited to work with people from the community and show off their hard work through competitions. Event Volunteering requires a background check.
