As the weather warms we are now offering several opportunities to volunteer at Lake Sammamish State Park in March. We are landscaping and improving the areas around the playground which consists mainly of weeding, removing invasive species, and planting.
We have scheduled two days of habitat restoration: March 7th and 21st. We can accommodate 12 volunteers per two hour shift.
Refreshments and tools provided. All activities will be held in accordance with King County and Washington State COVID regulations.

How to be prepared:
For safety, volunteers are required to wear:
- Long pants made of sturdy material
- Sturdy, close-toed shoes
- Gloves
- mask
In addition, we recommend that participants bring:
- Warm layers, especially during the fall, winter, and spring
- Rain gear
- Big sack lunch
- Long sleeved shirt
- At least one full water bottle
