NEST is seeking volunteers around NE Seattle interested in supporting their elder neighbors through driving to and from doctor's appointments, classes, grocery stores, social activities, and more. Transportation is our most requested service, with volunteers providing over 50 rides each month.
You can choose to sign up as often or as little as you like, using our convenient online system. Volunteers are required to submit an online application and complete a simple volunteer orientation before volunteering. Volunteer drivers also need to have current Driver's License, Vehicle Registration, and proof of auto insurance documents, and agree to have background and driving record checks.
