Come out to help us 'trim' the trees in the orchard! Winter pruning makes trees stay healthy and grow better fruit. Learn the easiest way to give back to the environment in a local park and your extended backyard. Bring your friends, learn how to prune the trees, and get to know your neighbors and friends of City Fruit afterwards over some pizza!
Every "party" begins with a lesson in fruit tree pruning for beginners. No experience required! This is a combined volunteer opportunity and learning opportunity. Please come with your own pair of bypass pruners, loppers and protective eyewear if you have or prefer them. Otherwise there will be some tools, gloves and supplies available for volunteers.
