Volunteer Role: Wellspring Associate Board Member
Overview:
Are you a passionate professional looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? Join the Wellspring Associate Board and help support children and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
About the
Associate Board:
The Associate Board is a group of emerging
leaders who serve as ambassadors for Wellspring Family Services. Members
support our mission through advocacy, fundraising, and volunteer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as an ambassador for Wellspring in your community and network
· Attend meetings regularly (9 – 10 hour-long meetings a year including some joint meetings with the Wellspring Board of Directors or committees)
· Help plan and support fundraising events and initiatives
· Volunteer at and promote Wellspring events and donation drives
· Support outreach and awareness efforts through social media and personal connections
Ideal Candidates:
· Young professionals or emerging community leaders
· Passionate about supporting families and children in crisis
· Strong communicators and team players
· Willing to make a one-year commitment
· Excited to contribute time, creativity, and energy to Wellspring’s mission
Time Commitment:
· 9 – 10 hour-long meetings a year average, including meetings, event planning, and outreach

You’ll also serve as a champion for equity, dignity, and opportunity for some of our community’s most vulnerable neighbors.
