Neighborhood House is seeking dedicated, community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors. Specifically, we are seeking individuals that are current or former clients of Neighborhood House, or have experienced language, cultural, or systemic barriers and can authentically represent low-income communities. One-third of our board consists of democratically selected members that represent low-income communities. This perspective is vital to advancing our mission and ensuring our leadership reflects the communities we serve.
As a board member, you will provide strategic leadership, strengthen community partnerships, advocate for equitable access to services, and help guide an organization that serves nearly 13,000 people annually across Seattle and South King county.
