The Neighborhood House Youth Tutoring Spring Showcase is an event where our youth will have the chance to show off everything they have learned, explored and discovered this past quarter. This event will feature presentations, live and recorded skits, art work and more!
The selected theme for the evening is World Travel. The students have been hard at work preparing skits that celebrate cultural differences, discovering forms of popular art work, exploring multicultural foods and music, and there will even be a live fashion show!
Volunteers play a role in making the evening a success by helping with set up, food service and even supporting students as they prepare for their presentations. Tasks will include:
- setting up tables and chairs
- food service
- talking and hanging out with youth
- event clean up
Volunteers meet at the Seola Gardens Youth Tutoring Center in White Center (11215 5th Ave SW, Seattle, 98146). The volunteer shift is 5:00-8:00pm.
