Our STUDIO program engages youth in middle and high school in STEM education and career pathways. The STUDIO program is delivered through empowering and exciting projects, leading youth to gain a stronger sense of self, their culture and community. Youth also have access to college and career readiness support.
SATURDAY, JUNE 28th
Registration & Set Up | 9-11a
You will be among the first people youth encounter as they arrive at the Youth Conference. You will be responsible for welcoming them, helping them register or check in for the event, and answering any necessary questions or directing them to troubleshooting as needed.
Help event organizers with activities related to event set up. Volunteers must be able to lift, squat, and carry 20 lbs.
Volunteers needed: 2 | Minimum age: 18
Food Prep & Service | 11:30a-1:30pm
You will be responsible for preparing food, ensure their food is delivered in a timely manner, responding to any culinary requests, answering any necessary questions and/or directing them to troubleshooting as needed.
Food handler’s permit preferred
Volunteers needed: 2 | Minimum age: 18
Youth Activity Stations | 12:30-2:30p
Stations: outdoor sports, relay races, carnival games
You will be maintaining your station and doing crowd control. Follow instructions and guidance from event organizers in charge of the station.
Volunteers needed: 3 | Minimum age: 18
Youth Activity Stations | 3-5:30p
Stations: gaming consoles, board games
You will be maintaining your station and doing crowd control. Follow instructions and guidance from event organizers in charge of the station.

BBQ Grill Masters | 1-4p
You will be specifically working the grill and preparing burgers. You will be responsible for preparing food, ensure their food is delivered in a timely manner, responding to any culinary requests, answering any necessary questions and/or directing them to troubleshooting as needed.

You will be assisting event organizers in cleaning up spaces to ensure rooms are clean and welcoming.

Volunteer Training Orientation
This volunteer training orientation will roughly be an hour long, and we will go over the brief schedule of the day of the event, and other important information.
Date: Friday, June 21st.
Time: TBD (Most likely 1 or 2PM), orientation will be an hour long
