Description

DHHS provides free case management and advocacy to the Western Washington Deaf and hard of hearing community, ensuring that communication access and disability accommodations are provided to all who need them. As a DHHS volunteer, you'll help the staff research and update resources, create and update documents, file, and a variety of other tasks as assigned. DHHS is run by a few fantastic deaf and ha - Punctual and reliable - Professional demeanor - Self-directed and motivated - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred but not required - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Able to work constructively with people of diverse backgrounds in a team-oriented approach - Comfortable working in a deaf and hard of hearing environment - All-around awesome
