Volunteers needed to help Northwest Harvest at our KZOK Rock the Harvest event, a 12-hour radio-thon asking listeners to call in pledges to help in the fight against hunger. KZOK is also auctioning off some great prizes as part of the event.
Volunteers will accept phone call pledges from KZOK listeners and help prepare prize packs. Volunteers must be 18 or older, and cannot have a background that includes any felonies. (Volunteers also must be comfortable being on camera as there may be a webcam in the phone bank.)
Volunteers needed for each of these shifts:
- 7am - 10am (2 volunteers needed)
- 10am - 1pm (4 volunteers needed)
- 1pm - 4pm (3 volunteers needed)
- 4pm - 7pm (3 volunteer needed)
No parking is provided. Northwest Harvest can sign-off on hours for work or school purposes, but we are unable to provide community service for court-related situations.

All donations from the KZOK Rock the Harvest event support Northwest Harvest's network of more than 380 food banks, meal programs and high need schools. Last year, Northwest Harvest provided more than 34 million pounds of food to this network.
