Volunteers at our Cherry Street Food Bank help by distributing food to clients at our food bank, as well as sorting and repackaging food for distribution. Some volunteers may work on our outside distribution line, although the work stations are under awnings.
For Day of Caring, we have a new opportunity available!
Our first two shifts are already full, but we have a new late afternoon shift for this event:
- 2:45pm - 5pm
- One group of 4 volunteers
This opportunity is for a team of 4 for the Day of Caring event. However, you may be interested in volunteering with us as an individual or with a different size group at a different time, and not as part of Day of Caring. If so, please visit our website at www.northwestharvest.org for information and to fill out a volunteer application.
Our minimum age is 9 years old or third grade. Please note: Northwest Harvest cannot provide community service hours for any court-related purposes.
Northwest Harvest is a hunger-response network that provides food to more than 375 food banks, meal programs, and high need schools. Through this network, we provide more than 2 million meals every month.
